Delhi Public School Nacharam student represents India in Indo-Singapore Summit
Hyderabad: September 9 marked the advent of a new phase of India-Singapore relations with the beginning of the conclave "InSpreneurs 3.0", held in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The two-day event was held to discuss the upcoming strategic partnership between the two countries while exhibiting innovative start-ups from both sides, allowing for funding, networking, and expansion.
Six students from various schools across India were invited as Indian representatives for this purpose. Advaith Gowrishetty, student of Class XII Delhi Public School Nacharam, Hyderabad, was one of those selected, and travelled along with his mentor Subash to Singapore to represent his team's company Farm-Tech and India in the conclave.
Among the dignitaries attending the conclave were Dr. S Jaishankar -Minister of External Affairs, India, Hardeep Singh Puri- Minster Civil Aviation, Vivian Balakrishnan FRCS, Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs and the High Commissioner of India in Singapore –Jawed Ashraf. The event also had numerous panel discussions held on not only India-Singapore relations but also on various topics such as cybersecurity.
The student, Advaith Gowrishetty, interacted with S Jaishankar and Vivian and explained the product Farm-Tech and the same was tweeted by Dr. S.Jaishankar stating "An impressive tour of InSpreneur 3.0 Start-Up & Innovation Exhibition with FM@ VivianBala great to see the passion in our new generation of entrepreneurs. Aroun 60 startups from India are here in the exhibition, some like this one, from the Atal Tinker Labs set up by the Govt."
Over the two days, the students also visited schools across Singapore to interact with the students there and present their products. The conclave was fruitful, to say the least, for all the attendees. The students left with not only more knowledge, but also experienced a new frontier and thanked the Principal Sunitha Rao & Chairman Komaraiah for their unstinted guidance and support.
