Exim Bank offers package to University of Hyderabad students
Hyderabad: Alfiya Ansari and Ashok Singh from the School of Economics at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) have been offered placement by the Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) as officer on contract (Research & Analysis). The selected students have been offered remuneration of Rs: 14, 00,000/- per annum to start with. This is the highest pay package offered so far and the selection process comprised of written test and personal interview.
Overall for the year 2018-19, 138 companies and institutions have made 330 offers, which is the highest in the history of the University.
Alfiya did her BA-Hons Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia University and is a rank holder in the course. Later she joined the MA-Economics at UoH and has a CGPA of 9. Ashok did his BA-Hons Economics from Delhi University and MA-Economics from UoH and has a CGPA of 8. He has also qualified the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET).
