Out of 15 members, 12 young talents have been selected from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore for the concert and two Indian American members from Tallahassee Florida, the USA and one Indian Portuguese member from the UK. Three talented young violin students of "Art of Violin" School from Hyderabad - Tanish Samanta, Varun Lanka and Veda Vidya Somanchi – are part of the troupe. Tanish is a student of Glendale Academy in 10th grad, Varun is a student of Indus International School in 9th grade and Vidya is an engineer at TCS, Hyderabad. The Indo-European Youth Orchestra will have 6 professional Hungarian musicians in all the section of the orchestra – 1st Violin, 2nd Violin, Viola and Cello.

The concert and workshop project are to be held at Budapest from Aug 13-18, culminating with a gala concert on Sunday at the Danube Palace under the baton of internationally known Indian composer and conductor Maestro Michael Makhal.

The "Indo-European Youth Orchestra" in collaboration with prestigious "Hungarian Orchestra" and "Danube Symphony Orchestra" is to organise the concert on Aug 18th Budapest.

This is for the first time any India-based western classical music orchestra will perform in Hungary and probably for the first time any Indian western classical orchestra will perform in Europe, making it a very significant event for India. It's first time that any Indian-based music organisation is taking the initiative to carry an Indian String Orchestra to Europe and building a meaningful bond between India and Europe through Western Classical Music.
