Today our tolerance power is so weak that even a stranger can hurt us. Suppose we are going to market by our car. We stuck in the traffic. Someone just overtake you by the wrong way. We instantly got angry. We abuse him even if he cannot hear us.

It does not stop here. We just keep thinking about the incident. It creates turmoil in our mind. Then we say that our mood is not good, today. Does your mood depend on the little activity of a stranger?

We always give our power others to derive us. We always give them power more than they deserve. A stranger does not deserve enough rights to derive your mood. So take your power back. Forgive and Move on.

You have made a weekend plan with your friends. You are excited to meet them. However, at the last moment you got a call and get to know that they have cancelled the plan. You feel disappointed.

You will start creating repetitive thoughts about the cancelled plan. These useless thoughts never help you get over things. They only let you label your day as a bad day. Forgive and Move on.

However, it takes courage to forgive someone. As Gandhi said, "The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." Let us see the value of forgiveness in life.

You will say that it is not easy to forget and forgive what happened to me. Moreover, why should you forget? If other person committed a mistake, he should get a punishment at least. I do not know about others but you are punishing yourself if you are not forgiving others.

Who is getting disturbed while thinking about what happened? It is you. Therefore, forgive them for yourself, not for others.

Accept people as they are: If every one of us think same, eat same and live in the same way, world will not be as interesting as it is now. However, we never understand the uniqueness. We think that only our way is the right way. Accept the uniqueness in each other. This will help you accept them if they did not do something as per your expectation.

Think about other's perspective: If someone hurts you, it does not always mean that he has such intentions. Sometimes it is not easy to think about other person's perspective. You never know what situation he is going through in life.

Everyone has different priorities. Think for a while as that person. It will help you understand him more. Even if he has done something wrong with you, it will help you to forgive him. Isaac Friedmann said it beautifully, "Forgiveness is the sweetest revenge."

Forgive yourself: Sometimes in life, we commit mistakes and realize when it is too late to fix them. We feel guilty and curse ourselves for the rest of our life.

May be we have treated someone awful, which hurt him. Now he is not in touch with you. You cannot find any chance to apologise in front of him. Therefore, you burn yourself with regrets. Here, you need your own forgiveness.

As you have learned from the mistake, make a promise not to repeat it again. It is essential to accept the past and prepare for the future. Just thinking about the past will never make your future better. Forgive yourself and Move on.

Meditation helps forgiving: If you do not have much control over your mind, it will not be easy to forgive. If you do not forgive, you simply waste a lot of your energy and time thinking about other's mistakes.

In life, we surrounded by family, friends, colleagues and strangers. They affect us in different parts of our life. Sometimes they cause happiness while sometimes they are source of disappointment. Sometimes we trust on someone so much but he breaks our promise. Sometimes they do not behave as expected while sometimes we are unable see their prospective.
