GITAM to honor ISRO scientist

Hyderabad: GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad will honor Dr. B N Suresh, Chancellor, Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram and distinguished scientist at ISRO during its 10th Convocation slated for November 15. The Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) would be conferred on the space scientist. He will be the Chief Guest on this occasion and will deliver the Convocation address.

Prof. K. Ramakrishna Rao, Chancellor, GITAM will preside over the function. Dr. Gullappali Nageswara Rao, Chairman, Academia Opthalmologica Internationalis, and Chintakindi Mallesham, Inventor of Lakshmi Asu Machine will be the guest of honor. The Degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Lit) would be conferred on the duo. About 1,200 students will receive their degrees.
