Hyderabad: GITAM student aiming for 4 more Guinness Records
Hyderabad : GITAM Deemed-to-be University, School of Technology final year CSE student Shivali Johri Srivastava, her parents Kavita Johri Srivastava and Anil Srivastava, hope to break four more new records for the world's largest display of Quilling dolls, Origami jumping frogs, penguins and Maple. Their attempt is being adjudicated by Guinness World Records soon.
They have displayed 2,242 quilling dolls, 3,663 Origami jumping frogs, 2,779 Penguins and 1,993 Origami Maple, which were made with origami paper. The record was authorised by independent judges after personal witness and with through counting.
Earlier, Shivali secured nine Guinness World Records for the largest display of 1,251 different handmade paper dolls, 7,011 uniquely quilled flowers, handmade paper quilled dolls of 2,111 different ones, 3,501 origami whales, 2,100 origami penguins, 6,132 origami citrus fruits inflated lemons, 6,001 Origami whales, 2,500 Penguins and 1,451 Origami Maple. She also secured ten Assist World Records and one Unique World Records.
GITAM Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof N Siva Prasad, Resident Director DVVSR Varma, faculty and students wished her to secure four more Guinness record soon.
