Thanks to the strategic planning by Dr Ramakrishnan Raman – Director SIBM Pune, the institution invites distinguished professors from all across the globe to take academic sessions for MBA, MBA (IE) and Executive-MBA students. The professors also help the faculty members in their research endeavors.

In the first fortnight of August 2019, SIBM Pune hosted Prof. Yogesh K. Dwivedi - Dean of Academic Leadership (Research Environment and Interdisciplinary Research) at Swansea University Swansea from the United Kingdom. Swansea University is a one among the top 30 research –intensive University and over 90 per cent of their research has been classified as world –leading or internationally excellent for the difference it makes in society. Yogesh K. Dwivedi who is a Professor in the School of Management at Swansea University has research expertise in the area of Information Systems and Electronic Business including the adoption and diffusion of emerging Information and Communication Technologies, analysis of usage trends of IS theories; and understanding the evolution of information systems, e-government and e-commerce research. He delivered lecture sessions to the management graduates and also gave invaluable guidance to faculty members on publishing in top rated journals.
