Hyderabad: Organized student housing operators expanding footprint in the region

Update: 2019-12-17 01:50 IST

Hyderabad: More than 34 million students are enrolled in Indian universities and colleges. Student housing in India, despite being a necessity for over 11 million migrant students every year, is a largely unorganised market, suffering from service and infrastructure quality gaps. Also, with rising enrolment numbers vs the availability of student housing infrastructure, the demand-supply gap is widening. In such a scenario, professionally-managed, high-quality, tech-enabled housing solutions like Stanza Living are challenging existing PG, hostel and apartment set-ups for students, and bringing a level of standardization in the space.

As per AISHE 2017-2018, Hyderabad, with around 470 institutes is the third-largest student education hub in the country and a leading centre of education in Southern India for diverse graduate and post-graduate programs. With an average intake of around 70,000 students (as per Telangana State Council of Higher Education), the city sees high enrolments from both domestic and international migrant students. With campus-affiliated hostel facilities being able to accommodate only a certain percentage of the student population, there is a need for high-quality, student accommodations designed to suit their academic and personal requirements.

Stanza Living was designed as a student-focused the solution that offers: Fully-furnished rooms, vibrant common spaces, host of daily living amenities – food, Wi Fi, laundry, housekeeping, social and professional programs. These comprehensive concepts are taking away the hassle of arranging daily living needs, reducing additional overhead costs and even reduce issues like brokerage, landlord-tenant issues, etc.
