Hyderabad school associates itself with British Council

Hyderabad: Akshara Vaagdevi International School, in collaboration with Pallavi Model School strives to inspire, engage and lay a strong foundation upon learners, for building a better tomorrow. It has associated itself with the British Council for an International School Award Programme.

This programme supports school in fostering an international ethos, understanding the world through 'Connecting Classroom', which goes beyond the typical textbook approach. While executing the action plan of BCI- ISA programme, students had a positive impact on the them, students developed awareness of the cultures of other countries thus promoting a new learning.

Students of Grade I to X were involved in seven curriculum activities. The students of Grade IV, VII & VIII, IX & X were involved in the activities titled "Currency Grade IV, separated by time zone united by love Grade VII & VIII, Make hay while the sunshine Grade IX & X".

Students for the first time partnered with an international school in Turkey through connecting classroom programme. They also enjoyed field trips, engaging in the activities of the project, enhanced their confidence and developed team spirit by working through the project.
