Hyderabad: Science Assembly held at DPS, Nacharam

Hyderabad: A special science assembly was conducted in DPS Nacharam on Monday for grades 3, 4 and 5 based on the theme "Space". The aim of organising this was to enhance the understanding of science amongst the students and also to display the fun side of science. Enthralling performances was showcased by students under the guidance of their teachers.

The programme started with unveiling of logo by the Head Mistress and the Principal. Lining ahead was a spectacular solar system show where students displayed themselves as the Sun and the eight Planets, revolved wearing beautiful head gears. A glimpse of renowned Astronauts like Neil Armstrong, Kalpana Chawla and many more was presented by students dressed up like them. A small tribute to our very own Missile Man was also given. A good dose of knowledge and application of satellites and rockets was also presented by students.

Continuing with the favour was a puzzle round on constellations. Last but not the least, the students had a spacewalk on a funky dance number. Finally, it concluded with vote of thanks. The Science Assembly was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all.
