Hyderabad: Tanla Solutions pulls out of Mobile World Congress 2020

Hyderabad: World's leading cloud communications provider, Tanla Solutions citing safety concerns for its employees, partners and customers have announced that the company will opt-out of the forthcoming largest global mobile event, Mobile World Congress 2020 at Barcelona scheduled to take place from Feb 24-27.

Given the global outbreak of the coronavirus and alarming spread of the global the epidemic, Tanla and its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Karix Mobile announced their plan to withdraw from exhibiting and participating at Mobile World Congress 2020. Tanla is one of the leading players in cloud communications space and had also announced its advanced blockchain communication suite at MWC last year.

Uday Reddy, CMD, Tanla Solutions, shares his concerns "We value the health of our employees, partners and customers and given the current circumstances, have decided to opt-out of the forthcoming Mobile World Congress 2020.

We were geared up and well prepared to showcase our next-gen solutions but after several discussions, we decided to withdraw our participation. It's unfortunate that we will miss the networking opportunities at MWC this year but we cannot risk the health of our employees."

Tanla has been regularly monitoring the development of coronavirus from relevant national authorities and international bodies, such as the WHO.

The decision to withdraw from MWC has come after a lot of internal discussions among the leadership team.
