Hyderabad: 'Young Manager' talent hunt organised
Hyderabad: Knowledge is not just about education it involves all round education and development. Students with enhanced skillset like good personality, creative presentation skills, team building skills, etc. are most preferred for placements in top organisations.
To create a platform and to involve students in developing skills, and to encourage them for wider participation, EduAccess organized "Young Manager Talent Hunt" at Harihara Kala Bhavan on Wednesday.
The contest witnessed the presence of around 500 students from over 20 college form various parts of Hyderabad.
John Bosco and Anish from EduAccess said " Students graduating from colleges need to be industry ready and we at EduAccess are here making efforts to create a platform for students to present themselves in front of a large platform showcase their presentation skills to judges and fellow participating students.
The duo added "this will further enhance the students confidence and will make them ready to face interviews, Group Discussions, etc.
when they apply for placements in organizations or want to pursue higher education in top colleges".
The Students had around 10 Topics for Individual Presentation like: Study Strategy, Situations in Organizations, How do you plan distribution of project, Work Life Balance, Recover from Failure, Is Setting Goals Important, Team Work V/S Individual Work, What Managers should learn from MSD, Stress Management and Time Management
Team of 5 Presentation was made on Profile of Companies like Google, Microsoft, Reliance, ONGC, TATA Group and SBI, Infosys, Deloitte, Apple & Morgan Stanley.
Students enthusiastically gave presentation of the given topics and were appreciated by fellow participants. The judges gave points to the students based on their presentation skills, topic details, etc.
