IBS wins three EFMD Case awards
Hyderabad: ICFAI Business School (IBS) Hyderabad won a whopping three awards in the prestigious EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) 2018 edition of Case Writing Competition.
Two cases from ICFAI Business School "Eliminating Modern Slavery from Supply Chains: Can Nestlé Lead the Way?" and "LATAM: A Latin American Airline's Emergence as a Global Player", written by Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Dr Debapratim Purkayastha won the 'Supply Chain Management' and 'Latin American Business Case' category awards respectively.
Another case "The Greater Manchester Waste Development Authority – Challenges in Sustainable Waste Management", written by Dr. KBS Kumar and Indu Perepu, won the 'Urban Transition Challenges' category. Other winners included cases from INSEAD, ESADE, Stanford, Kellogg, etc.
EFMD, which is a prominent accreditation agency for Management Schools with their EQUIS accreditation, announced the winner of the highly prestigious EFMD Case Writing Competition recently.
Prof. Eric Cornuel, Director General and CEO of EFMD, said, "EFMD is proud to continue encouraging innovative and impactful case writing and teaching. After a rigorous selection process, the very best cases were recognised in 17 management-related categories. We are happy to support the development of outstanding cases."
