Inter 2nd language syllabus revised
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) revises the syllabi of textbooks of Intermediate First and Second year for every 5 years. The syllabi of second languages of Second year Intermediate viz., Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi and Arabic were revised previously for the academic year 2014-15. As the term of five years of these textbooks is over, the TSBIE revised the syllabi of these subjects by constituting the Subject Committees with Professors, Lecturers of Degree Colleges and Junior Lecturers.
TSBIE Secretary Dr. A. Ashok has conducted a series of meetings to develop the content of the textbooks. After developing the content of the textbooks, the print worth CDs were handed over to the Director, Telugu Akademi for publishing the Textbooks. The Telugu Akademi published the textbooks and will be implemented from the academic year 2019-20.
Environmental Education textbook, a compulsory qualifying subject for the first year Intermediate was revised from the previous academic year 2018-19 and it was also translated into Urdu. B. Janardhan Reddy, Secretary to Government, Education Department and Vice Chairman, T.S.B.I.E. released the books. The Secretary, T.S.B.I.E. and the Director, Telugu Akademi were also present during the release.
