Inter-college Sports Meet at GITAM kicks off

Visakhapatnam: GITAM Deemed to be University three-day inter-college sports fest kicked off here on Monday. The fest aimed at focussing on the cognitive, moral, emotional and social development of students, saw participation from around 200 athletes representing GITAM Visakahapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses.

GITAM Vice-Chancellor Prof.K.Sivarama Krishna, Registrar Prof.KVGD Balaji Sports Board Secretary Dr.K.Ramakrishna Rao participated in the inaugural program. The university sports board made elaborate arrangements in Kodi Ramamurthy Indoor Stadium and GITAM Medical college sports grounds to organise the events.
