Mandarin language training centre in MITS College

Hyderabad: Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Madanapalle, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh will be setting up a Mandarin Language Training Center, Principal Dr C Yuvaraj announced in the press meet on Tuesday.

He said that the MoU was signed to establish the center in MITS, with the support and contributions from the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology in Yunlin City, Taiwan.

He said that, the students will be trained in Mandarin language and the experts or trainers will come from Taiwan and their services will be available in the college premises only.

Presently Mandarin is the most widely spoken language in the countries like China, Mandarin Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines and Mongolia etc.,.

Learning Mandarin language will open up the gates for employability in Asian countries. it will facilitate for job opportunities and higher education for students.

The Principal also stated that the language learning will be useful for students' in securing their careers globally and, so they need to recognise and utilise the opportunity.

Dr Neng-Shu Yang, President, Prof. Yu-HsunNien, Vice Dean of Office of International Affairs, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Yunlin, Taiwan, and Ms. Carol Qiu, Manager-International Relations and MITS college officials signed an MoU.

Dr Neng-Shu Yang, President said that learning Mandarin is easier than what students think. If the students can speak Mandarin, the world will be in their hands. In Taiwan, students have opportunities in the university, not only for engineering but also for MBA and MCA to pursue their Master of Science (MS) and Ph.D. (Ph. D) programs, he said.

Opportunities for MITS College students are many, based on the academic excellence for doing MS and PhD degree, he added.
