Oxford Grammar School celebrates Annual Day in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Eco-schools is the largest global sustainable schools programme. It starts in the classroom and expands to the community by engaging the next generation in action-based learning.

The programme's greatest achievement is arguably the fact that it produces a generation of ethical- minded mentally conscious people. These individuals can alter the behavioral patterns they take up under the auspices of eco-schools with them throughout life, in tum teaching the next generation the habits to make a difference.

The cultural programmes for primary school students revolve around the theme Environment and its conservation. It includes animal dances, act on conservation of trees, prevention of water pollution, reducing the usage of plastic and promoting bio-degradable materials. The Swachh Bharat dance advocates green India and clean India. Discouraging the unnecessary of Electronic Gadgets of phone in phone dance. All the programmes depicted the protection and conservation of depicting tribals and Lambadas encouraging the local dance forms.

Pre-primary dances were all fun-filled depicting the South African dance, Nature's flora and fauna, dances which have become extinct. The dance, cowboy dance, eggshell. The school has also initiated the STEAM project.
