Today is the most awaited 'Teachers' Day'. Some teachers change our lives while some give us epic moments to laugh on for years to come. We share those stories with our school and college friends and laugh our hearts out recollecting those beautiful memories.
Why we celebrate Teachers' Day?
Teachers' Day is dedicated to our teachers, mentors and gurus who guide us to be aware students and better human beings. Every year, Teacher's Day is celebrated on September 5, the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
What is the importance of Teachers' Day?
They play an important role in our lives to become successful in career and business. They help us to become a good human being in the society and good citizen of the country. Teachers provide data and information in the brain of students to analyse.
Young Hans spoke to some of the students and they shared their stories
"My parents pressurised me to take Science stream even though I wanted to study Commerce. Chemistry was my weakest point. I could not remember the names of the chemicals, leave alone the periodic table. And then after a couple of class tests with zero marks, my teacher called me to her cabin and handed me a poem made on the names
of chemicals in the periodic table. I still remember them." Manisha
"I liked to sing, my teacher changed my perception of who I was. He would make me sing randomly in the assembly or in the class. He asked me to focus on my solo performances and gave me the confidence to sing on the stage. Once he pushed me on the stage, there was no stopping me." Kavitha
A noble profession
Teaching is a noble profession. But many do not opt for this profession due to their negative mindset. But not even a day I felt that opting for this profession would reduce my status or I will be looked down upon. There are many people to demotivate me from taking up this profession.
But there are two people who play a major role to keep up my will power. My mother and my class teacher of class 9. Motivate me by giving up their true life experiences. There is a common spread idea that those who have no other way end up in this profession by force. But these people disproved this notion as they have taken up this profession by passion.
Their motivation kept my determination and spirits high. Teaching my juniors during my schooling was the first stepping stone which made me realize that it's going to give immense pleasure to mould the future generation to make a better india.

Being a teacher is invaluable
Teaching is a noble profession as many professionals are made by teachers. My inspiration to develop passion towards teaching is all my teachers who inspired me to work hard.
As they are the ones who motivated me and made me a better person, I want to be a teacher like them and want to share my knowledge with everyone and make the children successful in their lives. I would like to serve my nation by educating the children, as educated people are an asset to a nation. Being a teacher, one must be very proud as teacher is the best blessing a man can receive.
