Tribal Residential Junior College girls claim top ranks : Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential junior college students secured top ranks in Telangana State Physical Examination Entrance Test (TS PECET 2019), the results of which were announced on Monday. P Chandrakala of Bhadrachalam college clinched state first rank, while Ch Ashwini of Eaturunagaram college secured state 4th rank. It's truly remarkable that both the students hail from poor agricultural labour families.
Secretary Dr RS Praveen Kumar congratulated the toppers and said that the entire credit goes to the committed teachers who have been working beyond the call of duty in transforming the lives of poor tribal students. He further said, marginalised students have been shining in many fields from ranging from sports to academics to extra-curricular activities with the active support of the government of Telangana under the KG-PG Mission, while thanking the chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Minister for Welfare Koppula Eshwar.
