VIT AP offers 100% fee waiver to govt college toppers

Hyderabad: VIT AP University Vice-President Sankar Viswanathan on Monday offered 100 per cent fee waiver, hostel & mess to 26 toppers, selecting one male and female student from 13 district govt. rural junior colleges. On this occasion Sankar Viswanathan advised students to study as duty, dignity and with 100 per cent attendance everybody can have better chances for placements.

VIT's new initiative called STARS (Support The Advancement of Rural Students) aims to provide opportunities to the underprivileged rural students to pursue quality higher education.
