VNRVJIET receives ISO 9001 certification

Hyderabad: City-based Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) has been certified by the International Standards Organisation (ISO) and has received the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

This certification procedure was conducted by HYM International Certification Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, which is accredited by Accreditation Service for Certifying Bodies (Europe) Ltd.

Sivaiah Alapati, Managing Director, and C Madhubabu, Auditor handed the ISO certificate to the Institute. President-Vignana Jyothi Dr D N Rao, General Secretary-Vignana Jyothi K Harishchandra Prasad, Principal-VNRVJIET Dr C D Naidu, Director-VNRVJIET Dr B ChennaKesava Rao, Deputy Dean-VNRVJIET Dr B Narendra Kumar received the certificate from the Certifying Body.

Sivaiah Alapati, Managing Director-HYM International Certification, said that their organisation audits and certifies institutions based on conformance to standards, competencies of their workforce, and business growth.ISO 9001:2015 establishes the criteria for a Quality Management System (QMS), based on various quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

Dr D N Rao, President-Vignana Jyothi, expressed his happiness explaining that ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that the stakeholders can be assured of consistent, good quality education, research, and innovation. He added that the Institute has already achieved A++ Grade from NAAC, 10-year autonomy renewal from UGC, and 109th rank in Engineering and among Top 200 ranks overall under NIRF in this academic year and that the current certification by ISO helps the Institute ensure continuous assessment and improvement and establishes the commitment to quality. Dr. C.D. Naidu, Principal VNRVJIET, added that ISO certification helps the Institute achieve a system that will help and support the faculty and staff and improve student satisfaction.
