World Environment Day lecture organised at Dr B R Ambedkar Open University

Hyderabad: The Faculty of Sciences, Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) organised a World Environment Day lecture at its campus at Jubilee Hills on Monday. The Chief Guest Prof. Ravindra Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, Nalanda Open University, Patna, Bihar delivered a lecture on "Status and Conservation of the Ganges River Dolphin-Indian's National Aquatic Animal".

Prof P Madhusudhana Reddy, Dean Faculty of Sciences, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. Prof K Seetharama Rao, Vice Chancellor, BRAOU, presided over the Function. Prof K Purushotham Reddy, social environmentalist and Prof C Venkataiah, Registrar, BRAOU, were Guests of Honour. Prof P Madhusudhana Reddy proposed the vote of thanks.

Science students, research scholars, staff members, faculty members, directors, deans and heads of branches attended the lecture programme.
