KSRTC to operate Volvo buses from Mysuru to airport
Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha will flag off KSRTC Volvo buses to Mysuru airport on Monday.
Several people brought to the notice of Mr Pratap Simha about the lack of adequate transport facilities to the airport and exorbitant fairs being charged by cabbies when the MP came to launch Mangaluru flight on Friday. They told the MP that cab drivers would demand Rs 600-Rs 700 from city to the airport and vice versa.
Responding to their plea, the MP immediately coordinated with airport director Manjunath and officials of KSRTC to operate Volvo buses to the airport. Volvo buses will make seven trips to the airport every day ( 6.15 am, 9.05 am, 12 noon, 1.45 pm, 2.35 pm, 3.15 pm and 5.50 pm) from the city bus stand and and stop near Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram, Radisson Blu Hotel, Ginger Hotel, JP Fortune Hotel, Mysuru rural bus stand and city bus stand.
