Rs 25 lakh worth of property damaged in hotel fire

Bengaluru : A hotel was damaged in a fire accident on Saturday under Jnanabharathi police station limits. Kick-Out restaurant opposite Shirke apartment is reported to have suffered an estimated loss of Rs 25 lakh as the fire caused damage to furniture and other property. The police confirmed that there was no loss of lives.

The firefighters who doused the fire stated that a short circuit might have led to the fire in the restaurant.

DCP Sanjeev Patil said that Jnanabharathi police registered a case and launched investigation to ascertain the reason for the fire.
