TruJet flight from Belagavi to Mysuru lands in Chennai

Mysuru: Trujet flight from Belagavi which was supposed to land in Mysuru airport at 8.10 pm on Monday, was diverted to Chennai where it landed safely.
There were 47 passengers and five crew members on board the flight.
According to airport sources, because of heavy rain and crosswind in Mysuru, the pilot took a call to divert the flight to Chennai. The aviation department is ascertaining the exact reason for diversion of the flight.
They added that while nine passengers stayed in Chennai, the airlines arranged vehicle for the other passengers to reach Mysuru.
Trujet which connects Mysuru aiport with Chennai and Belagavi has temporarily stopped its operations here, the sources said.
