Deepika Padukone repeats her Wedding trousseau on her first wedding anniversary

Update: 2019-11-15 17:55 IST

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh offered prayers at Tirupathi temple for their First Wedding Anniversary celebrations. And later the couple snapped at Amristrars golden shrine. Deepika looked stunning in a maroon, heavily embroidered dress. Interestingly, the actress had repeated the outfit from her pre-wedding rituals. Earlier, Deepika was snapped in the same designer dress at her 'chooda' ceremony.

The beautiful ankle-length kurta with dhoti pants which she teamed up with a sheer tissue dupatta with scattered embroidery all over it by her favourite designer Sabyasachi was to look out for. The actress styled her look with jadau choker, light smokey eyes, muted lip and sindoor this time while last time she kept it simple by skipping the dupatta and keeping her make up subtle.

The actress had worn a beautiful maroon dhoti suit for her Sangeet last year in November and now, she wore the same suit in Amritsar as she visited the Golden temple.

Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, looked dapper in a floral ethnic suit with Nehru jacket.

Deepika Padukone made everyone sit back and take notes on how to dress up perfectly on your first wedding anniversary without buying new clothes. Yes, you read that right. The actress, who celebrated her first anniversary with Ranveer Singh in the most beautiful and private manner, made sure to recycle her old wedding clothes and footwear. And yes, we have proof!

Not only this, but Deepika also repeated her jootis which she had worn in her Sindhi wedding last year on November 15, 2018. The jooti was specially customized for the actress and was from the Christian Louboutin x Sabyasachi collection.

We loved how the actress decided to repeat her outfit and footwear and give us a beautiful flashback of her wedding last year. We guess it is time for hubby Ranveer also to take some inspiration from his dear wifey because we have never spotted him repeat or recycle his clothes.
