Ingredients Needed
For Cream Of Tomato Soup
- • 4 cups finely chopped ripe tomatoes
- • 1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
- • 3 whole black peppercorns (kalimirch)
- • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- • 1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
- • 1/4 cup tomato puree
- • 2 tsp sugar
- • salt and to taste
- • 1 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
For The Garnish
• 2 tsp fresh cream
Process
• First, you need to take a pan and add 1 cup of water. Now add the tomatoes, bay leaf and peppercorns. Now let them boil for 8-10 minutes on a medium flame stirring occasionally.
• Now you need to remove the bay leaf and then allow the concoction to cool down. Next, blend the concoction and then strain it.
• Thereafter take a pan and heat the butter. Add the plain flour and saute on the medium flame. Next goes the tomato puree and mix them well for a minute.
• Now, add sugar, salt, crushed pepper and fresh cream… Mix them well and cook for about 2 minutes on a medium flame.
• That's it! Dish out into a bowl and garnish it with fresh cream and coriander.
