She showed off her cooking talent to her fans by posting her amazing cook-ups on her Instagram page. Today, she came up with a simple yet tasty 'Mango Dal' recipe and made us go mouth-watering!!!

We Hans India have come up with the detailed recipe of 'Mango Pappu' straight from Shruti Hassan's Instagram page… Have a look!

Ingredients Needed

• 1 Raw Mango

• 2 Green Chillies

• 1 Onion

• A stalk of Curry leaves

• 2 Garlic pods

• 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds

• 1 cup of Ahar dal

• 1 tsp Mustard seeds

• ½ tsp Red chilli powder

• ½ tsp Turmeric powder

Process

• First, cook the dal adding enough water and turmeric powder to the pressure cooker. Let it cook until 4-5 whistles and then set it aside.

• Now take a pan and heat the oil. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and green chillies… After they crackle, add the garlic pods and onions. Let the onions turn golden brown and then goes hing or asafetida and the chopped mango pieces.

• Add salt and red chilli powder along with enough water. Let it cook for a few minutes until the mango pieces turn soft with a closed lid.

• Thereafter, pour the cooked dal and allow it to boil for a few minutes. That's it! The yummy 'Mango Dal' is ready!!!
