Hazrat Ali's birthday is observed on the 13th of Rajab the Islamic month, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar. This year in 2020, this date falls on 9 March. Very year on this day, Muslim community people perform Namaz with the remembrance of Hazrat Ali and his contributions.

Hazrat Ali was Prophet Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law. Prophet Mohammad is the founder of the Islam religion. Hazrat Ali was the son of Abu Talib and Fatimah bint Asad, and his full name was Ali ibn Abi Talib.

Hazrat Ali has inspired the Islamic people throughout his lifetime, and he was also the fourth Caliph from 656 to 661. That's one of the reasons why he is still remembered and much alive in the history of the Islamic religion.

In 656 after his wedding and assassination of the third Caliph Uthman Ibn Affan, he became the fourth Caliph in 656.
