Hazrat Ali's birthday is observed on the 13th of Rajab the Islamic month, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar. This year in 2020, this date falls on 9 March. Very year on this day, Muslim community people perform Namaz with the remembrance of Hazrat Ali and his contributions.
Hazrat Ali was Prophet Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law. Prophet Mohammad is the founder of the Islam religion. Hazrat Ali was the son of Abu Talib and Fatimah bint Asad, and his full name was Ali ibn Abi Talib.

In 656 after his wedding and assassination of the third Caliph Uthman Ibn Affan, he became the fourth Caliph in 656.
