This month 21st is dedicated to World Yoga Day, thus Malaika has decided to go with this challenge and is posting one yoga asana per day and is also rolling out her gorgeous pictures on her Instagram account…

Today Malaika picked 'Vrikhasana' which is also called as 'Tree Pose' and also showed us how to pose it with the detailed explanation… Have a look!

In this pic, Malaika is seen doing a perfect and spotless 'Vrikhasana' standing straight on her yoga mat…Here is how to go with a perfect 'Vrikhasana':

• First, stand erect with the soles of your feet flat on the ground.

• Then, fold your right leg and place the sole on the inner thigh of your left leg, with your toes pointing downwards.

• Next, the right leg should be perpendicular to the left leg.

• Finally, fix your gaze and slowly extend your arms upwards, in a namaskar position. Repeat on the other side and also do it daily to yield the health benefits of this yoga pose.
