Sunday Sermon: Every Dark Cloud Has A Silver Lining
Sunday Sermon: Life is full of ups and downs and we haven't heard of anybody saying their life is perfect. There are happy moments, struggles and challenges which we all face on a daily basis. But like they say, this too shall pass as change is the only constant. You cannot possibly think that your life will remain the same forever. Which is why people say life is uncertain and never a rosy path.
The lockdown situation caused by the coronavirus has made several establishments run out of business. The UN chief recently said that some 49 million people across the world will be hit by poverty due to the damaging consequences of the pandemic. But like they say there is hope. It's not an impossible situation because we could get back on our feet.
It may take some time but with conviction we can definitely get out of this situation. Whatever happens is for the best and who knows this better than you? We often wonder why things went wrong only to realise later that it has only helped put you in a better situation when you look back.
So every dark cloud as a silver lining, it might take some time but patience is the key. This weekend, take a deep breath and keep the faith for there will be sunshine after the rain and of course the rainbow is a possibility too.
