Update: 2019-11-18 22:08 IST

Art enthusiast Vasu Prem has started Artdias.com to promote and celebrate art rendered by the young and senior artists in various mediums and genres. Taking the initiative forward, `Intonations' an exhibition of paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints by artists whose works are displayed in the online gallery, were also exhibited at the State Gallery of Art, Madhapur. An eclectic mix of artworks from various artists from Hyderabad curated by Vasu are displayed at the exhibition aptly titled, 'Intonations'

Group shows are loved for their portrayal of vivid and drastically different perspectives and stances. It is amazing that artists belonging to the same city or locality or even to the same family absorb, assimilate and express about exclusive aspects and thoughts. 'Intonations' is one such group show that amalgamates a wide array of works that exemplify myriad nuances. Each work explores a unique aspect of life and existence. If one work delves deep into the realistic and physical aspects of the surroundings, the other unveils the surreal escapades, another one is spiritually enlightening, yet another excavates a dark corner in our social or political system that needs attention. Each is a reflection of a moment, feeling or thought about life, its infinite processes and its known or unknown upheavals.

The show includes works of senior artists like Vaikuntham, A Rajeswara Rao, Aelay Laxman, Anand Gadapa, Anjani Reddy, DLN Reddy, Kandi Narsimplu, Masuram Ravikanth, Ramesh Gorjala, Sachin Jaltare, Sanjay Ashtaputre are just a few of the many artists, whose works are on display at Intonation till November 21.
