TiE-Delhi NCR, SHEROES come together to say no to 'manels'
Whether it's a conversation around climate change, entrepreneurship or women's health, world over, we often notice 'all male' panels, commonly known as 'manels'.
This trend has given rise to several social media 'manel watchdogs', which regularly call out panels lacking in female representation via provocative gifs, tweets and other forms of protest.
TiE Delhi-NC, active chapter of TiE, the global not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and SHEROES, the women-only social network have joined hands to ensure women representation in event panels.
TiE Delhi-NCR regularly hosts panels across the spectrum of entrepreneurship and through this much-needed step wants to flip this trend by partnering with SHEROES.
The aim of this partnership is to identity the best women speakers and experts in every field, ensuring representation of women across all events and activities.
SHEROES, the women-only social network has a stellar reputation for hosting power-packed all-women panels at the SHEROES Summit, its annual flagship event.
"The world has no dearth of women doing awesome, path-breaking things in business and beyond, and SHEROES platform has most of them engaging very day as champions, mentors and also building their businesses.
