Why We Celebrate World Wildlife Day
We observe World Wildlife Day celebrate the varied forms of wild fauna and flora on our planet Earth. This day aims to raise awareness about the multiple benefits that people get with the conservation. The day also encourages people to fight against illegal poaching and other wildlife crimes, due to which many species are getting wiped out, resulting in wide-ranging economic, environmental and social impacts.
Effects of Biodiversity Loss
Our planet Earth is sheltering to several species of flora and fauna. Though, in the last few decades, due to human's unsustainable activities, wildlife species and the natural resources are overexploiting, pushing the Earth's biodiversity at risk. Currently, a more substantial part of species is facing the threat of becoming extinct. We all have to come together to save our Earth and its biodiversity.
