Andhra Pradesh News: TDP senior leader and former minister Atchannaidu, who was arrested in the ESI scam has once again been hit with a major blow with Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissing his bail petition. It is learnt that Atchannaidu was charged with fraud during his tenure as a minister. He has already been taken into custody and is being questioned by police. Hyderabad Weather: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued orange alert predicting heavy rainfall across Telangana for the next five days. It said that the state will witness moderate to heavy rainfall due to the upper air cyclonic circulation over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal that extending up to 5.8 km above from the sea-level. Andhra Pradesh News: A huge fire broke out at a chemical factory in Nellore district on Wednesday morning. The incident happened at Vinay Agro Chemical Factory at Chandrapadia in the Vinjamur mandal where four workers were seriously injured in the accident. Telangana logs 1764 new Coronavirus cases as total tests near 4 lakh mark
Telangana reported 1764 new Covid cases and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours. Close to 19,000 tests were conducted which is the highest single day figure till now. Also, the state is on the verge odd competing 4 lakh sample tests so far. The overall Covid tally and deceased count stood at 58,906 and 492 respectively.
