Kurupam Ex MLA and TDP leader Janardhan Thatraj passed away
Janardhan Thatraj, a key TDP leader and former MLA of Vizianagaram district Kurupam, has died of heart attack. He succumbed to his injuries at Visakhapatnam Hospital this morning. Thatraj was nominated in Kurupam on behalf of TDP in the 2019 elections. However the nomination was rejected due to caste dispute. As a result, he was unable to contest the election. Janardhan won the Kurupam MLA from the Congress in 2009 and later joined the TDP after the partition of the state. Janardhan Thatraj is the nephew of senior political leader and former minister Shatrucharla Vijayarama Raju. Many politicians are mourning the death of former MLA Janardhan.
