Tirupati: Tirumala temple employee dies of coronavirus

A TTD employee working in Tirumala temple died of coronavirus on Friday.

T Veera Seamy working as Deepali in Tirumala breathed his last in the early hours while undergoing treatment in SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Covid hospital.

Deepali is the one who is engaged as traditional torch bearer piolating temple rituals or ceremonies including procession of dieties in the shrine.
