Chandrababu Naidu demands resignation of Sucharita for Atchannaidu kidnap

TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu said it was not arrest it was kidnap of former minister.

Officials said ACB had obtained arrest warrant. The ACB claims about Rs 200 crore excess payment was made in purchase of medicines. TDP condemned arrest and decided to take recourse to legal action.

Another former minister Jawahar said it was vindictive policy and to prevent vociferous leader from questioning government in Assembly.

ACB officials went to his village around 3 am and took him into custody without serving any notice. Even family members not informed. About 100 policemen went to his village. ACB likely to hold press meet.

TDP leader former minister Atchannaidu arrested by ACB officials in Nimmada Srikakulam. Shifted to Visakhapatnam. He was arrested in alleged ESI scam.
