Breaking News Today, 6 May 2020: After the announcement of the extension of lockdown till May 29 in Telangana, the tipplers have flocked to the liquor store early on Wednesday morning. However, the government has made strict measures to maintain social distancing.
While in Andra Pradesh there are 60 new cases reported taking the tally to 1777 and on the other hand, the government will deposit financial aid to fishermen under the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme.
While going by the central news, the centre has hiked the tax on petrol and diesel by Rs 10 and Rs. 13 respectively.
While the weather report suggests that there could be slight to moderate rainfall in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the next two days due to low pressures in the Bay of Bengal.

Two more trains from Bibi Nagar railway station of Yadadri-Bhongir district in Telangana left for Bihar and Jharkhand on Wednesday morning.
Migrant workers from various locations in the state were brought to Bibinagar railway station on Tuesday night by buses. The health officials who accompanied the workers screened them before entering the railway station.
The officials said that they have made all the necessary arrangements for their smooth journey to return to their native places. District collector Anitha Ramachandran reviewed the arrangements at the railway station before the migrant's journey. While leaving, the migrants expressed their happiness as they are finally heading home after being stuck for several days due to the lockdown.

Live Visuals from Bhadrachalam: After hiking the rates of liquor by 75% on each bottle in Andhrapradesh , no consumers were found at the shops for purchasing liquor from shops in the border villages in Andhra.

Live Visuals from Khammam: Maintaining social distance and wearing masks the boozers purchased liquor with cool across the district on Wednesday. All the shops were opened at 11 am in the district. After taking the liquors the boozers expressed happiness. The police and excise department staff are taking all measures to ensure social distancing in front of the shops.
