According to Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, of 62 cases, as many as 42 cases were reported from Greater Hyderabad and one from Ranga Reddy district while remaining 19 cases are of migrant workers. A total of seven persons were also discharged today on getting cured. With this increase, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the State has increased to 1,761. However, with 1043 people getting cured/discharged, the number of active cases has come to 670. With three deaths on Friday, the death toll has increased to 48.

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has lifted the suspension of IPS officer and former Intelligence chief AB Venkateswara Rao and ordered the government to take him into duties. It also ordered the government to pay him salaries for the period of suspension. The High Court has also set aside the directions given by the CAT is related to AB Venkateswara Rao's suspension.
Andhra Pradesh News: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday has issued sensational orders over Visakhapatnam doctor Sudhakar's arrest. The court has asked CBI court to file a case against the Visakha police and made it clear in its directives that the matter be completed within 8 weeks and a report shall be submitted. The magistrate's report stated that Sudhakar had injuries on his body while the government's report did not mention the injuries. Coronavirus in Hyderabad: Two days after a constable succumbed to coronavirus in Hyderabad, another policeman working at Balapur police station has tested positive for coronavirus on Friday. Andhra Pradesh News: CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched a program titled 'Restart Model' for strengthening the Micro, Small and Medium Scale Industries (MSMEs). As part of this, Rs. 1110 crore will be sanctioned to the MSMEs from the government. Andhra Pradesh News: In a rude shock to the government of Andhra Pradesh, the High Court has cancelled the GO 623, which was given over the painting of colours to panchayat offices across the state. The High Court has asked for an explanation as to why the new GO had to be released and ordered the CS, Panchayat Raj department and election commissioner to give clarification by 28 of this month. Andhra Pradesh News: Former ministers and TDP leaders Ayanna Patrudu and Kidari Sravan Kumar has slammed at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's government for allegedly using the party colours for the RTC buses in Visakhapatnam. The ministers alleged that the buses from the Maddilapalem depot had been coloured with YSRCP party flag colours before they have started. The photos of the buses have went viral on social media.
