Doubts are being raised on the gas that leaked yesterday from LG Polymers. Former Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Prof Nageshwar said that state PCB and Central PCB should probe into it. Styrene gas according to him does not claim life. May be some other chemical could have got mixed into it. He felt air toxicity needs to be studied.

National Green Tribunal (NGT) issues notice to LG Polymers, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on Vizag Gas Leakage incident. NGT also directs LG Polymers, India to forthwith deposit an initial amount of Rs. 50 crore taking note of damages caused Gas Leakage incident.
Telangana Govt. agreed to release Vehicles that are seized during Coronavirus lockdown. For the time violators, a case is registered under Section 179. An amount of Rs.500/- can be paid and collect the vehicles. Vehicles that are seized under Section 188, 207 can be collected via a court order.
