BRS Public Meeting LIVE UPDATES: Kerala CM Vijayan lashes BJP

He said Hindi is being imposed on the country. It is time for showing new path forward for the nation. The purpose of this meeting is to show such a path to the country.

BRS meeting begins. Kerala CM Vijayan lashes BJP saying it destroyed democracy,federal structure, forcing Hindi, it ignores constitution. Independence of judiciary being attacked. Bills are bull dozed. States are not consulted on any issue. Office of Governor misused. They do not understand Constitution.

Police ordered the shutting down of shops located near the new district collectorate, and local people complained about not being allowed to procure medicines from the shops.

Around 2 lakh people reached the meeting venue, with more trickling in and volunteers' guiding them into different compartments at the meeting grounds.

State Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Dornakal MLA Redya Naik, State Road Ways Development Authority Chairman M Srinivas and other leaders from Maripeda of Mahabubabad district travel in a bus to attend the public meeting.

All the leaders including KCR, Kejriwal, Bhagwanth Singh Mann, Akhilesh Yadav, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram participated in puja as the priests recited vedic hymns
