118 new coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh, active cases remains at 1038

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have been choppy for the last ten days. In the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh, 45,079 coronavirus tests were conducted and 118 were tested positive. The state health department has released a bulletin to this effect. According to the health bulletin, the total number of cases registered in the state mounts to 8,90,884 while 7,176 victims have lost their lives across the state with zero deaths. Read Full Story

Supreme Court dismisses petition against AP municipal elections, says it cannot obstruct elections

The Supreme Court on Tuesday has held a hearing on the municipal elections in Andhra Pradesh as some people from Kadapa district have filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of the previous notification regarding the municipal elections and giving a new notification.
