The government said that 400 districts have been reporting over 10% weekly Covid positivity, and 141 districts logged 5-10% positivity in week ending January 26.

At a health ministry briefing on Thursday, Lav Agarwal, joint secretary, ministry of health, said: 16 states/UTs has vaccination coverage of those aged 15-18, which is more than the national average of vaccination.
