On the other hand, as many as 128 new patients were cured in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 20,62,157 and there are currently 2266 active cases.According to district-wise data, Chittoor district reported 96 new infections, followed by Visakhapatnam 89 and Krishna 66 while Prakasam district has logged the least cases with 6 new cases in the last twenty-four hours.While coming to Omicron cases in the state, the totally reaches 28 in Andhra Pradesh.Coronavirus in Telangana: Telangana reported 1,913 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, pushing the cumulative caseload to 6,87,456. On Wednesday, the state had reported only 1520 cases. The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 7,847. Two more COVID-19 death were reported in the last 24 hours in Telangana.Among the districts, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) was the main contributor of the infection by registering a maximum of 1214 new cases during the last 24 hours, followed by Rangareddy (213), Medchal-Malkajgiri (161), and Mahabubabad (33).
