The Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the discussions have started with the employees' unions on the issue of PRC GOs and opined that he would go further in this regard. Sajjala spoke to the media after the meeting of union committee leaders with a committee of ministers at the secretariat. He said they had asked for the postponement of the strike proposal. Meanwhile, the government advisor clarified that there were no recoveries from the salaries of the employees and opined that it is not good to ask for the abolition of PRC GOs. A realtor has been kidnapped in Narayanaguda in Hyderabad on Monday night. The realtor Guyesh Pasha went to a wedding at Eden Garden in King Koti when some unidentified assailants kidnapped him while returning home. The incident took place around 12.10 am. It is learned that Guyesh Pasha, a resident of Nampally has called to his daughter over phone and said that he was in Hyderabad and would return home in an hour after which two assailants stuffed him inside a car and fled. The victims's son-in-law informed the police who rushed to the place.Read more

The Osmania University administration has clarified that all the courses will have offline classes from today. According to the government instructions, offline classes will start for all the courses in all the colleges affiliated to Osmania University from February 1, 2022, OU clarified in another press release. Earlier on Monday, the University authorities said that its courses will be held in online mode. The Intermediate public examinations for the 2021–22 academic year will be held in the state in April. Arrangements have been made by the Intermediate Board to conduct the examinations. The board secretary MV Seshagiri Babu said that the schedule of inter-examinations will be finalised. He said that along with the intermediate other exams schedule will also be released on the same day. The secretary explained that the exams would be conducted with all due care as per protocol and arrangements were made at the testing centers with funds being allocated to the districts for other needs.Read more
