Andhra Pradesh reported 94 fresh Coronavirus cases taking the total tally to 20,76,546 Coronavirus cases across the state. While coming to fatalities, two new deaths registered in the last twenty four hours with one in Krishna and West Bengal taking total toll to 14,490. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has quashed previous orders issued by the government on finalisation of fees in schools and colleges. Tollywood actor and producer Bandla Ganesh have once again become the talk of the industry as an arrest warrant has been issued against him. Going into the details, Bandla Ganesh gave a cheque of Rs. 1.25 crore to Jetti Venkateshwar, which was bounced. However, the victim approached the court on this and there was no response from Ganesh despite repeated orders asking him to attend the hearing. The incident is said to occur in the morning and the authorities have been trying to lift the tanker based on the capacity of the gas tanker. However, as they were lifting the tanker, the tanker got a hole, and the gas is leaked around a 500-meter radius and the technical team has called the fire engine and clearing the gas leakage.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has once again adjourned the hearing on the petitions filed in the capital cases till January 28. The court clarified that full arguments would be heard from that day. Shyam Diwan, a senior advocate in the Supreme Court, who put the arguments on behalf of the farmers, asked the court to continue hearing the petitions. The court directed the advocates on behalf of the petitioners to file notes within ten days detailing what was still to be done in the petitions in the wake of the government repealing the CRDA repeal and Decentralisation of Development bills. The High Court directed the government to file affidavits after the lawyers' notes were submitted on behalf of the farmers. It is known that the government of Andhra Pradesh has withdrawn the three capital bills citing the technical flaws. However, it made clear while passing the repeal bill that it will bring the new bill overcoming technical flaws. It remains to be seen when the government would bring the new bill regarding three capital bills.

A love couple committed suicide on Sunday in Vanamitra, a suburb of Anantapur. According to police, a brick kiln operator from Upparapalli Venkataswamy and Shivamma couple has a son Gurumurthy who was married to Jayalakshmi from Prasannayapalli three years ago and has a son. Against this backdrop, Gurumurthy who use to go by Dhaba on Pangal Road met Lakshmidevi's daughter Saileela from Chinnakunta village who was working there. However, a year ago, Saileela got married to a young man from the Balyanayak Thanda of Mudigubba mandal. Unable to adjust with her husband, she remained with her mother for six months. The acquaintance between Saileela and Gurumurthy turned into love. The two families elders who came to know the matter rebuked them.Read more
TPCC president Revanth Reddy was put under house arrest in his residence in Hyderabad ahead of the Rachabanda programme in Erravalli. Revanth Reddy on Sunday announced that the party would organize Rachabanda programme in Erravelli today to show the media as to how the CM is cultivating paddy crop in 150 acres of his house while discouraging farmers from cultivating paddy in Yasangi. In the view of it, the police reached Revanth Reddy's house on Monday morning and house arrested him. The police also set up barricades near his house. Meanwhile, the Congress leaders who were on their way to Erravelli were also kept under house arrest. Condemning the arrest, Congress party leaders like V Hanumantha Rao, Ponnaa Lakshmaiah, Shabbir Ali and Madhu Yaski questioned the Chief Minister as to why he was stopping the Congress leaders from conducting Rachabanda.
