Telangana News: Congress slams BJP for its anti-farmer policies
Warangal: The Congress workers on Friday staged a demonstration here against the ‘anti-farmer’ policies of the Central Government. It may be recalled here that the AICC had given a nationwide call to its cadres to observe ‘Kisan-Mazdoor Bachao Divas’ on Friday (October 2). The rally was headed by AICC Secretary Srinivasan Krishnan. Referring to the agriculture bills, he criticised the BJP-led Central Government for its anti-farmer policies.
DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy, former minister Konda Surekha, senior leaders Namindla Srinivas and Meesala Prakash were among others present.
AICC secretary Srinivasan and former minister Konda Sureka DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy also participate in front of rally and staged a protest against the new agriculture bills brought forth by the central government on Friday in Hanamkonda.

Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: It is clear that the coronavirus pandemic nia slightly declining in Andhra Pradesh from last week with positive cases coming down. On the other hand, recovered rate has been increased, which is sigh of relief for the administration band government. However, as the virus is taking its fall in cities, the cases are on rise in villages due to negligence and carelessness. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan launches distribution of ROFR pattas to tribals program
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who realized the dream of nearly one and a half lakh tribal farmers who believed in podu agriculture had launched a program to distribute ROFR pattas via video conference from his camp office on Friday, giving them rights of forest land to tribals. For the first time, the late YSR handed over title deeds to forest lands cultivated by tribal farmers. He distributed 55,513 ROFR deeds for 1,30,679 acres.
