5 rounds details of Munugodu bypoll counting


The TRS candidate K Prabhakar Reddy was in lead by 6706 votes in the first round where BJP was with 5350 and Congress with 1837. In the second round BJP was in lead with 8622 votes, TRS with 7781 and Congress with 1532. In the third round BJP was in lead with 7426 votes where TRS was with 7010 and Congress gained 1532.

The BJP is leading in the villages where the Ministers Ch Malla Reddy (Aregudem), V Prashant Reddy (Devulamma Nagaram) and V Srinivas Goud (Lingojiguda) were the incharges for TRS.

The BJP candidate Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy secured lead in second, third and fourth round.

After two rounds of counting the TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy of TRS is leading with 318 votes against BJPs Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy aftertwo rounds.

After round 5, the BJP in lead by 29,505, TRS 28,409 and INC 6,169.

Munugodu: TRS leads in postal ballots


The Telangana Rashtra Samithi began with a lead as counting of votes from the Munugodu by-poll started at the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation godown in Arjala Bavi of Nalgonda on Sunday.

After counting of the 686 postal ballot votes, TRS had 228, the BJP had 224 and the BSP had 10. The following rounds will see counting of the 2,25,192 votes polled out of a total of 2,41,805.

Counting of votes from 298 polling stations will be done in 14 rounds in 21 tables (14 full rounds, 294 polling stations) and a 15th round in four tables. The mandal-wise sequence of counting of votes was Choutuppal, Narayanpur, Munugode, Chandur, Marriguda, Nampally and Gattuppal.

Delay in releasing first round details

Munugodu: Returning Officers did not release round wise details. After 5 rounds, details of first round were officially released. Counting began at 8 am and first round detailed results released at 10.20 am
