Kavitha violated Election Code, alleges Congrress

The Congress alleged that K Kavitha, BRS MLC has violated Election Code by appealing to the people to vote for the party.

“Kavita has violated the Election Code by appealing to the people to vote for BRS. While speaking to the media today after exercising her vote at the polling Station at DAV School Banjara Hills MLC appealed to the voters to vote for BRS which is in violation of Code. This is brought to the notice of Sri Vikasraj CEO, Telangana for taking action,” said G Niranjan senior vice president of Pradesh Congress Committee.

Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar and his wife cast their vote in Jubilee Hills constituency today. DGP went to the polling station in the morning and cast his vote 

Mobiles are not allowed in polling stations . EC appeals votes stop carrying phones.

The Election Commission and Police appealed to voters not to carry mobile phones in Polling stations. Reports say that many voters are carrying mobiles in the polling stations and police denied permission to enter polling booths with phones.
